JIreh's Bday 2010
            The above pictures were taken when some of my church frenz brought Jireh to celebrate his bday at Swensens. It will really nice of them to treat us for the lunch and also the ice cream cake they had.. I seriously think Jireh and Deborah is NEVER lack in anything in their life. They have so many people to love them, talk to them and bring them out. I seriouly pray that one day, Jireh's mummy will come to know that her kids are so well being taken care of by GOD's people and will personally come to church to experience GOD's love herself. Instil discipline and independence is important
Today Jireh has learnt to wash his school shoes. It does helps him to learn to be more independent. It also helps grandma to lessen her workload at home.
Deborah recently has improve slightly in her behaviour. She is much discipline than before. Of course here and there, she needs reminder in her studies. She is much independent than before and she speaks very good chinese too. I am proud to see these two kids growing... Friday, July 16, 2010
Never underestimate the power of God to use you
A long time since I updated kids blog.
a little update here: I have been taking quite abit to Jireh's mummy two weeks ago. had lunch with her and the kids on Youth Day (school Holiday) I manage to have the opportunity from the Lord to speak to her about some personal life story. I believe the timing will come when the Lord prepares it. I didnt expect to even have this opportunity to even sit down with her to have a meal. The Lord just impacted my heart to share with her about what the Lord really wants her to see about her two kids and also an eye opener for her to see how our heavenly father teaches me to handle Jireh and Deborah infont of her. I shared with her about my past and How the Lord actually use "a nobody" to reach out to broken souls out there. I can see Jireh's mummy moved to tears and I can see is the work of the Lord. She has a soft spot. Just like mine. Tough on the outside, weak in the inside. i even got Jireh and Deborah to lay hands to pray for their mummy. I believe once the seed is sown, it will harvest but needs plenty of fertilizing and watering... Keep praying with me. Thursday, July 15, 2010 |
