Ending of 2010

Year 2010 is ending, well, it was definately a challenging year for us in the Tay family. Exams over in November.

Both kids did well but for Deb, her grades has dropped quite alot. Especially her chinese. She did not put in much effort for her studies this year but STILL, with all the pushing and scolding and all the nagging, she could still score a Band 1 for English and Band 2 for Chinese and Math. We have also engage a Math tutor for her to work on her Math and Science next year.

As for Jireh, Chinese maintain which is good as he worked so hard to achieve his DS from us.

Now, talking about bthier behaviour:

Jireh has good conduct except for always losing and breaking his things. He is still aprefect in the school. Played for the basketball team for his MERCU Student Care. Less fights with Deb at home now but sometimes can be pretty rude to grandma. He is learning to be discipline at home to control his hands not to hit his sister.


Deborah.. hmm.. What should I say? Bad year I guess.
She ahs stole money from grandma 3 times, stole things from her friends, markers from student care and lots of complain from her teachers. Her Mercu Student Care Chinese teacher also complained that she uses her eyes to stare at the teacher when asked to learn her chinese spelling. Friends complained that she kept things from them and brings it home.

Well, VINz and I have personally dealt with her behaviour problems, apart from all these, she is still doing ok. She is much independent now. Able to keep and packed her things properly at home and for school.

This year, her health wasnt good too. She was having bad coughs and slight lung problems. She had to twice of the accupunture and on medication for several months. All due to lack of discipline in her food intake when she was young. Health not taken care of properly.

This december, they enjoyed their holidays. Deb went with me to Malacca on 16th - 18th Dec, and from 19th to 22nd Dec, they went for their very first church camp in KL. Followed by 23rd to 26th in Kl to celebrate Christmas.

Children enjoyed themselves and also alot of time with their church friends.

Time flies, Jireh is going to be 10years old next year. He is really growing fast.

Deb is pretty musical inclined. She likes to play the piano also enjoys dancing., am thinking if I should send her for ballet and piano class next year. As for Jireh, he continued to learn his swimming. He is doing well..

I thank GOD for providing in their lives and that they knows JESUS persoanlly in thir lives.
